Shenkar Final Project 2023
10% of women experience postpartum depression in one way or another. The project was born to raise awareness of the hidden nature of depression and the importance of expressing it openly. This documentary project explores nine stages that represent the emotions and challenges mothers face during their journey. Each stage is depicted as a unique book with its own distinctive graphics, intimately capturing the feelings and struggles of those mothers. The color of each stage represents its central emotion, while the box containing it symbolizes the connection between them.

10% מהנשים חוות דיכאון אחרי לידה בצורה כזו או אחרת. הפרוייקט נולד כדי להעלות את המודעות לטבעו החבוי של הדיכאון והחשיבות לבטא אותו בצורה גלויה. פרויקט תיעודי זה חוקר תשעה שלבים המייצגים את הרגשות והאתגרים איתם מתמודדות אמהות במהלך מסען. כל שלב מיוצג כספר עם הגרפיקה הייחודית לו המשקפת ולוכדת באופן אינטימי את הרגשות וההתמודדויות של אותן אמהות. הצבע של כל שלב מייצג את הרגש המרכזי שלו, בעוד הקופסה שמכילה אותו מסמלת את הקשר ביניהם.
Nine stages representing the postpartum depression phases. Each stage features a dominant color, intimate stories of mothers, unique typographic arrangements, abstract photographs, and amorphous images. The mothers' stories are extracted from the book 'The Big Bear".

כל שלב מכיל צבע מוביל, סיפורים אינטימים של אמהות, סידור טיפוגרפי ייחודי ,צילומים אבסטרקטים ודימויים אמורפים.
הסיפורים של האמהות נלקחו מתוך הספר "הדובה הגדולה".
